GD Consulting was founded in 2017, but the experience behind it goes back 35 years. Glenn Durkin built a Restoration Company and a Construction Company, based in Toronto long before stepping into the world Cost Consulting and Property Damage Appraisal, and that background shapes everything we do.
Today, GD Consulting specializes in property damage appraisal, remote Xactimate estimating, and insurance claims consulting to homeowners, businesses, law firms, independent and public insurance adjusters, condominium corporations and the oil and gas industry. We are locally owned and operated out of Cochrane, Alberta, serving Calgary, Edmonton, and the surrounding areas, with services extending into the BC Interior.
What sets us apart is simple. Most claims consultants come from an insurance background. Ours comes from construction, which means we understand the actual cost and scope of repair work, not just the paperwork around it. That knowledge enables us give policyholders a fair, accurate picture of their claim.

With 35 years in the Insurance Repair and Construction industries, Glenn Durkin, has estimated, managed, and appraised projects of every size before ever setting foot in 3rd Party Independent Property Loss Appraisal.
